Marguerite “Maggie” Hines La Fiura
Marguerite “Maggie” Hines La Fiura is an attorney with a diverse background spanning top-tier law firms, advocacy work, and entrepreneurial ventures. Prior to joining Dema Law, she provided freelance legal support to Fairmark Partners, LLP, focusing on collective action litigation and antitrust advocacy. Earlier in her career, she was an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell, where she led real estate transactions, advised nonprofit organizations, and handled complex estate planning.
Maggie earned her J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law and holds a B.A. in History from Harvard University. She is licensed to practice law in New York.
She is particularly committed to the protection of natural resources for future generations, a dedication that has taken on even deeper meaning in her role as a mother. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening with native plants, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children.
